  • Where does the other 50% of the jackpot go?

The other 50% of the jackpot (minus permitted program expenses related to running the raffle) will be allocated to the Ottawa Senators Foundation for charitable purposes and community program investments that benefit children and youth in the National Capital Region.

At times the Ottawa Senators Foundation will partner with other charitable organizations and events, at which time the proceeds are split between the Ottawa Senators Foundation and the other charitie(s) invovled.

  • Is this the same draw that happens at the hockey game?

Yes. The Ottawa Senators Online 50/50 is part of the same raffle that happens in-venue at the Ottawa Senators Hockey Games.
  • How is the winning number drawn?

The draw is done at the start of the third period of the hockey game. A unique winning number is randomly generated and issued by the electronic 50/50 Raffle System out of the numbers purchased for that particular draw.
  • What is the minimum, or maximum, prize?

The 50/50 raffle does not have a minimum or maximum prize amount – the prize amount is 50% of the total sales (“jackpot”) for the raffle in question. In the event a 50/50 raffle is seeded, the total seed amount will be the minimum prize amount awarded.
  • What are the odds of winning?

The odds of winning the Prize are based on the number of Numbers sold during an event.
  • Do I have better odds online?

Your odds of winning do not change based on the manner in which you purchase your 50/50 raffle ticket, online and in-venue sales have the same odds of winning. The odds of winning the Prize are based on the number of Numbers sold during an event.
  • Can I play more than once in a game?

Yes. You can purchase more than one ticket per event or game. The limit is $1,000 per participant per draw.
  • If I win – can I play again?
